Printmaking Sisters (Australia)

Robin Ezra and Annie Day

Aluminium Etching - class full

Printmaking Sisters take the mystery out of Aluminium Etching in a course suitable for artists and enthusiasts at any level of knowledge from newcomers to experienced printmakers.

Learn how to create your own stunning impressions with colour, tone, texture and form.  Aluminium is a lovely metal to work with and the safe copper sulphate etchant weaves its magic on the surface to create a range of stunning tones and marks.  We cover many different techniques for creating images on the plates.

Prepare to be surprised at how rewarding the process can be as you pull your first print from each plate.   Our detailed notes and instruction on all components of the workshop are provided.

Robin and Annie, the Printmaking Sisters, have years of experience in every aspect of teaching this beautiful technique in Australia and Italy.
